If you’re new to being a chastity slave, a chastity contract can help start the conversation about you and your keyholder’s desires. In any relationship, communication is key and a chastity contract will provide some clear guidelines and expectations for you and your dom to explore your new dynamic. Before you get caught up in the excitement of wearing a chastity cage, here are some suggestions to help you kickstart your chastity journey.
A chastity contract is a signed agreement between you and your partner outlining the use of a chastity device. The contract should state the definition of terminology used in a chastity relationship and requires the submissive to hand over control of their genitals to the dominant/keyholder. It’s not a legally binding document, but rather a commitment and reminder of the agreed rules for both parties.
Terminology commonly used in a chastity contract:
Keyholder: a gender-neutral term for the mistress/master or dominant.
User: the person who will wear a chastity device.
BDSM: an abbreviation that stands for bondage and discipline, dominance and submission, sadism and masochism.
D/S: abbreviation for ‘dominant and submissive’.
Hard limits: Non-negotiable boundaries set by each party regarding activities they will not consent to participate in.
The three main forms of chastity are self-locked, chastity with a romantic/sexual partner, or chastity with a professional keyholder.
Chastity with yourself
Since you will be the only person in this dynamic, you likely won’t need a written and signed contract. Self-imposed chastity can enhance solo/erotic play or combat sex addiction.
Chastity with your partner
A chastity arrangement with your partner should be mutually beneficial. However, it will vary according to the relationship dynamic, sexual preferences and lifestyles of both parties. It can include domestic duties, gift-giving or remote tasks such as phone sex, remote-controlled sex toys or sending nudes before releasing the user from his chastity cage. To assert dominance for the keyholder, the contract can also include stipulation to restrict the user’s masturbation or porn habits.
Chastity with a professional
Those without partners but prefer to hand over the keys to their chastity cages to someone else can seek out of professional dom. In this case, the purpose of the chastity arrangement can include the user’s requests for self-improvement such as health goals, motivation or quitting porn addiction or to fulfill the user’s fetish. The contract is usually based on a financial agreement and most professionals will not engage on an unpaid basis.
Whether you’re doing chastity solo, with a partner or a professional, your health and safety should be top priority. Some health hazards that come with a chastity arrangement include:
Not having a spare key. Both user and keyholder should have access to a spare key in case of emergencies. However, the keyholder can keep the key in a coded lock box to prevent the user from unlocking his chastity cage without permission.
Being forced to wear a chastity cage of the wrong size or shape.
Anything that interferes with work or family duties and professional and public appearance.
Unclear conditions and contract end date.
Not having a clear method of communication in case of emergencies. Both parties should establish their own forms of communication and be aligned with each other’s expectations before signing the contract.
A contract should include terms and conditions that both parties consent to, the obligations the slave has to fulfil, user agreements and release date, contract duration, the possibility of termination or review of the contract for both parties, as well as punishment and penalties for breaching the contract.
It doesn’t have to be an official affair and can be simply done on the spot in private between both parties, or you could spice it up by having a third party witness the signing. It’s up to you!
Here are a few examples of chastity contracts you can copy, paste and adapt to your own desires. Print it out for yourself and your keyholder so you can both sign it and each keep a copy.
